Changchun World Sculpture Park lies in the south edge part of Changchun, east to Renmin Street, north to south circle road, west to Yatai Street, a km south to Weixing square.

It is a modern city sculpture park combining natural hill and water with human scenery, where, the East and West Civilization of the World, Chinese Tradition and Modern Culture are compromised to embody its permanent there of Friendship, Peace and Spring.

The Rolling relief and 11-hectare clear water naturally formed constitute valuable environment of the sculpture park. The planning adopts a concept to combine Chinese tradition with Western park building doctrine and the modern planning theory so as to achieve harmonious integration of nature and humane. The main entrance gate and the curved approach wall along both sides are arranged symmetrically in an appropriate manner along the central axis.

It covers an area of 91.8 hectares consisting of 11.8 hectares of lake. It is a modern sculpture park with natural beauty and man-made art together. Its everlasting theme “ friendship, peace, spring” is fully embodied by world culture, Chinese traditional and modern culture and art. Chinese traditional and western gardening combined with modern planning theory makes the perfect unity of nature and human civilization.

The asymmetrical scenic plaza echoes each other with the theme sculpture at a distance across the arch bridge by means of ingenious turn of axial line. The zigzag road No.1 and No.2 embrace the clear and blue ripples on water surface just like a jade belt, and they form pleasant rhythm with association of activity and inertia, and linearity and curve together with four scenic spots featured by long wall that spray water to the center of the water like a mighty dragon. Inside the park, people can enjoy green grass and dense trees decorated with delicate scenic spots. A 12,500 square meter main building structure is situated in the park, and as the largest sculpture gallery in China so far, the building structure itself is a huge work of modern sculpture presenting novel design, complete functions, and elegant combination of curves and lines.

The main architecture is the biggest sculpture art building in our country. Creative design, complete function, fine curves well joined straight lines; all of these give it a unique fine sculpture art.
